Grammy Award winner Kirk Franklin, alongside the Maverick City Gospel Choir, made a powerful debut in Accra, Ghana 🇬🇭 , on August 18, 2024, performing at the Kingdom World Concert organized by CMG Gospel at the First Love Church.

Despite last-minute venue changes and technical delays that pushed the start time from 5 PM to 8 PM, the concert drew thousands to the First Love Church at UPSA in East Legon. The event, which was initially marred by the cancellation of a highly anticipated meet-and-greet session, was saved by stellar performances from Maverick City Choir’s Todd Galberth and Naomi Raine

The crowd, which included notable figures like gospel artist Ohemaa Mercy, actress Nadia Buari and policies Alan Kyeremanteng and Sam George, was energized by Kirk Franklin’s dynamic stage presence.

Ghanaian talents Team Eternity Joe Mettle and Luigi Maclean concluded the show on a high note.

The event, captured by the Blacvolta team, marked a significant moment in Ghana’s gospel music scene. Looks like there is more to come from the Culture Management Team.
