Increasingly, countries are moving away from traditional passport stamps, embracing facial recognition technology to streamline border crossings. Popular CNN journalist @larrymadowo shared his experience at the U.S. airport, where his passport wasn’t stamped. In the United States 🇺🇸 , the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has eliminated passport entry stamps, opting instead for electronic I-94 records. Travelers must now access their I-94 electronically for proof of entry and immigration status . Similarly, Dubai 🇦🇪 International Airport has implemented a biometric system allowing passengers to travel without showing their passports or boarding passes. Registered travelers can pass through the airport using facial recognition, making the process seamless and efficient . Singapore 🇸🇬 Changi Airport is also moving towards a passport-free system in 2024, although travelers will still need to carry their passports as a backup. The European Union is adopting similar measures, with plans to digitize border crossings across the Schengen Area, phasing out passport stamps in favor of biometric data . #blacvolta #blacvoltaparty #FacialRecognition #TravelTechnology #BiometricSecurity #PassportFreeTravel #DigitalBorders #Travel2024 #GlobalTravel
