The Recording Academy®, known for the GRAMMY Awards®, is expanding globally to support music creators, with a focus on the Middle East and Africa. Agreements with cultural ministries and key stakeholders in Kenya, KSA, Nigeria, UAE, Rwanda, South Africa, Ghana, and Ivory Coast aim to enhance the Academy's presence in these vibrant music regions. Over the past two years, Academy leaders have engaged in extensive regional visits, gaining insights from governmental and music industry innovators. Collaborations will focus on several key initiatives: The Academy will also publish reports to share insights and research on these music markets, driving the initiative forward.
