This past Easter Monday, BlacVolta Creator and Creatives Mixer brought together Ghana’s leading minds in entertainment, branding, and content creation for a high-impact evening of conversations, connections, and creative elevation. Hosted by the brilliant media personality Abena Soreno, the event featured two powerful panel sessions that inspired creators to dream bigger, build stronger brands, and take their work global.

Panel 1: How African Entertainment & Content Creation Are Shaping Global Trends This panel featured Kwamina Quansah (Creative Architect & CEO, Q Bespoke) and Degraft Oppong, the duo behind Entertainment Week Ghana, this session was a masterclass in creative influence. They emphasized Ghana’s cultural power and called for creators to move beyond “vibes” to embrace scalability, professionalism, and strategy. Degraft Oppong echoed this with a call for government investment in creative industries to shift Ghana’s global narrative. A standout highlight? The announcement of The Deal Room, an upcoming platform where creatives can pitch to investors, backed by training and brand development support.

Panel 2: Aligning Content Development with Business Strategy The second session brought fresh insight from Mariam (Fintech & Brand Marketing Professional), Nosisa Doe (Head of Channels, Akwaaba Magic), and Edwin Amoako (Managing Director, Zoomlion Private Services Ltd). Mariam challenged the room to support and promote Ghanaian creatives, while Nosisa stressed the need to align content with platform expectations and copyright standards. Edwin left the audience buzzing with two powerful frameworks for success: The 3 Ps of Creative Growth: - Professionalism - Packaging - Profiteering The V.E.S.T Mindset: - Vision – Dream big enough to scare yourself. - Environment – Your network is your net worth. - Scalability – Build to grow. - Think Global, Act Local – Global thinking starts from day one.

To crown the evening, music collective 99 Phaces lit up the stage with an electric performance, leaving the crowd energized and inspired. In a time where Ghanaian creatives are ready to be seen and heard, the BlacVolta Creator Mix served as a powerful launchpad for bold ideas and bigger visions. The conversations on this night won’t end here, they’ve lit the fire for what’s next. Because the future of Africa’s creative economy isn’t just coming, it's already here.
